Find out what to expect during your first visit with us by reading through the steps below.
Please arrive 10 minutes early for your first appointment to fill out any necessary forms. Or, you can fill out the forms ahead of time by downloading them below. You'll wait for your appointment in our reception area, where you'll find plenty of reading materials and comfortable chairs.
Your first appointment will take about 60 minutes. You and your dentist will start by discussing your medical history and oral health needs. Your dentist will then complete a thorough examination of your gums, teeth, bite and jaws. This exam will include a series of dental x-rays and photos, and an oral cancer screening.
Based on your medical history and exam, your dentist will develop a comprehensive dental treatment plan for you, with hygiene and ongoing preventive care as the primary focus. Throughout your appointment, please feel free to ask your dentist or hygienist any questions you may have about your dental health and treatment options.
